Elaine's Fitness Newsletter (Feb 2007)

Hi all and welcome to your first newsletter. Let me introduce myself. My name is Elaine Taylor and I have been in the fitness industry for 12 years. I have taught a wide variety of classes at many of the local fitness centres, practiced sports massage therapy and have lectured for Harlow College. My passion is to provide everyone access to improving their fitness.

Very soon (5th March) I will be launching a timetable of classes. For those new to fitness let me explain some of them. All classes with the prefix of ‘BODY’ to them are pre-choreographed by leaders in the fitness industry and run for a 3 month period. We will be running:-

  • BODYPUMP a toning and conditioning class with weights and is perfect for both men and women.
  • BODYJAM a dance workout set to the latest music with simple and repetitive choreography to allow plenty of time to learn moves.
  • BODYBALANCE a blend of yoga T’ai chi and Pilates to improve your joint flexibility increase core strength and reduce stress.
  • Other classes on the timetable include BOXFIT / LEGS BUMS & TUMS / YOGA / INDOOR CYCLING / DANCE.

YOUR COMMENTS

Each letter will include a question and answer section or some fitness facts, and hopefully a profile of a Staff member or class member (if they let me!!!!). I would like to put on social events throughout the year so we can all get to know each other better and let our hair down!!! Any ideas welcome and to put on comment cards which will be available soon.
